Cookie consent
Revision of October 8, 2026
By choosing “Accept all” or enabling individual categories in the “Cookies on koto” window, you consent to the administration of koto processing personal data collected through cookies for the purposes and to the extent described below.
1. What cookies are and what we collect
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Browser local storage and session storage work in a similar way — below, all of these are called cookies.
They may be used to process: cookie identifiers, IP address, browser and device details, pages visited and the referring source, and actions on the site (navigation, clicks, scrolling).
2. Essential cookies — always on
The site does not work without them, so no consent is needed. They are not shared with third parties.
- koto-consent — your choice in the “Cookies on koto” window, 12 months.
- koto-account, koto-account-new — signing in to your account on this device, 12 months.
- koto-lang — site language, 12 months.
- localStorage: cart (koto-cart-*), favorites and recently viewed (koto-fav-*, koto-seen-*), theme (koto-theme).
- localStorage: how you arrived (koto_first_touch, koto_last_touch) — the campaign tag and referring site. Sent with your order so we know which ads work; contains no identifiers.
- sessionStorage: current visit marker (koto-visit) and repeat-order draft (koto-repeat) — removed when the tab closes.
Our own visit statistics work without cookies: page address, referring source and device type. IP address and browser details are only used to count unique daily visitors as an irreversible hash and are not stored.
3. Duration and withdrawal
Consent lasts 12 months from your choice; then we ask again. We will also ask earlier if we add a new tool.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. After withdrawal, analytics and advertising stop loading and their cookies on our domain are removed. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings — your account sign-in and cart on this device will then reset.
4. Who processes the data
The administration of koto. Purposes: running the site, placing and delivering orders, statistics and ad measurement within the categories you chose. See the Privacy Policy for details.
