Where do I find my code after paying?

On your order page. The code is only available through your order link, so keep it safe.

Will a euro card work if my Epic balance is in another currency?

No. Epic only accepts a card whose currency matches your Epic account balance.

Can I redeem it on a restricted (child) account?

Yes, but Epic only lets that balance be spent in Epic's own games like Fortnite, and not on Fortnite Crew. A parent or guardian has to finish setting up the account to unlock other purchases.

How to redeem

Go to epicgames.com/redeem, enter the 16-digit code and select Redeem. Sign in with your Epic Games account or the console account you play on. Confirm the account details, link any other accounts if asked, and redeem. The amount is added to your Epic account balance.

Epic asks you to accept the Account Balance terms on the Payment Settings page.

Buying V-Bucks

Once the balance is added, buy V-Bucks in the Epic Games Store. If you play on PC, mobile or a cloud gaming service, you can also buy them in-game.

If something costs more than your balance, you can cover the rest with another payment method. That doesn't work for subscriptions, Fortnite Crew included.

Playing on Nintendo Switch

Switch doesn't support the Fortnite Shared Wallet. To spend V-Bucks bought with your balance, use the web Item Shop or a Shared Wallet platform linked to your Epic account: PlayStation, Xbox, PC or mobile. Items you buy with V-Bucks are then available on every platform.

Fortnite gift card or V-Bucks card

Epic is replacing V-Bucks cards with Fortnite gift cards. A Fortnite gift card shows an amount of money; a V-Bucks card shows a number of V-Bucks. Older V-Bucks cards are redeemed on a different page, fortnite.com/vbuckscard.
