Can I split a code between Valorant and League of Legends?

No. Riot adds the whole code to one game, so choose carefully.

The currency hasn't arrived

Riot asks you to allow up to 24 hours. If it's still missing after a day, contact support with your order number.

Riot says I've made too many attempts

That's a temporary limit on Riot's side. Wait 24 hours and try again.

Do Riot cash codes expire?

No. Riot says cash codes never expire.

How to redeem a Valorant or League of Legends code

Riot calls VP and RP codes and Riot Cash Cards "cash codes". You can redeem them on Riot's website or right in the game client.

Redeem at shop.riotgames.com/redeem or in the VALORANT and League of Legends clients.
Cash codes only work in the region where they were bought. The region is in the product name.
The whole code goes to one game; it can't be split.

On Riot's website

Go to shop.riotgames.com/redeem, enter the code and select Redeem Code. Log in to the account that should get the currency and choose the game. A grayed-out game means you haven't played it on that account yet.

Check your current balance and the amount being added on the summary page, then select Redeem Code again.

In the game client

Riot only accepts cash codes in the PC versions of its games. On console, use the website.

VALORANT: click the VALORANT icon next to your VP in the top-right corner, select Prepaid Cards & Codes and enter the code. Some regions ask you to tick a consent box before you can submit.
League of Legends: in the store, click the Account button, select Redeem Codes, enter the code and press Submit.

Code region

Riot cash codes are locked to a region and currency. A code from another region shows "This Code is Not Valid in Your Region" and has to be used on the server it was issued for. Pick the code for the region your account is registered in.
